Step Up SIP Calculator

Use this free step up SIP calculator to see how increasing your SIP every year, as your income grows, can change your final value. Enter your starting monthly amount, the yearly increase, an expected return and the number of years.

How this step up SIP calculator works

Your SIP starts at the amount you enter and rises by your chosen percentage at the start of each year. For example, a ₹10,000 SIP with a 10% yearly step-up becomes ₹11,000 in the second year and ₹12,100 in the third. Money is assumed to grow at the return you enter, compounded monthly. The line “Extra vs. a flat SIP” shows how much more the step-up adds compared with keeping the SIP unchanged. The result is an illustration, not a forecast.

What this calculator does not include

The result is before taxes, exit loads and fund expenses, and it does not allow for inflation. It also assumes you can afford each yearly increase. If your income does not grow as planned, a smaller step-up may be more realistic.
